Luminz Studio offers studio rental time for rehearsals, events, workshops and private classes with three or less students. Group classes are offered by request only. (Click here for Group Class Request Form.) Studio time is available on a first come first serve basis and confirmed by the listing below.
To reserve studio time:
- check the class schedule & rental schedule below to find available times. (Leave 15 minutes between activities to allow for cross-over time.)
- scroll down to review fees & policies.
- enter name, day, time and purpose for rental in the studio rental form. Specify the reason for studio use as it will be our way of determining your fee. Payment due at time of use.
- Please request time 24 hrs. in advance. your confirmation is a listing on this page.
While at the studio:
- sign in on the studio rental form in the yellow binder on the desk.
- complete a studio rental release form (one time only). forms are on the desk.
- leave complete payment in the gold box by the desk & sign out when finished.
- when you leave, make sure lights & speakers are off and doors are locked.
Studio Rental Policies
- All cancellations must be communicated 24 hrs. in advance or payment will be due.
- Studio time is paid for at the end of each use or pre-payed. No IOU’s.
- Work trade can be arranged by contacting info@luminzstudio.com. All work-trade must be completed before studio use.
- Renter is responsible for any damage of equipment or space during studio use. All studio fees include use of the sound equipment or piano only.
- All studio time used will be reserved by use of the online studio rental form and confirmed by a listing on this page. No unapproved studio use.
- All studio time will be tracked on the studio rental page in the yellow binder.
- Renter is responsible for calling the BDCC 3 days in advance if the main building door has to be unlocked. The building closes each weeknight after 6 PM and all day on Saturday & Sunday. Contact Sandy Otero at 802-257-7731 & tell her you are at Luminz.
- Rental for events does not include use of lighting equipment or staff. All tech operators must be approved before use of the lighting equipment.
- All promotion for events must be approved by luminz before distribution.
- All teachers offering privates must have their own insurance.
- The studio must be returned to the state in which it was found.
- No storage space unless pre-approved.
- Remove all your own trash from the building.
- No street shoes in the studio.
- If you have a large group (more than 7), please supply your own water & cups.
- Please pre-approve if you plan to serve alcohol at your event.
If you are new to the studio, we will contact you with detailed information upon receiving your completed rental request form.
Studio Rental fees:
- Rehearsal ~ $14/hr.
- Workshop: $25/hr (one time class only. no promotional or admin support.)
- Other income producing activities/private lessons ~ $14/hr. or 25% (the greater number). no more than 3 students.
*Luminz can arrange additional regular classes w/more than 3 students. Please complete the group class form. - Company & teacher rehearsals ~ $8/hr
- Event ~ $125 per show. Includes 2 hrs of rehearsal/set-up time per performance. Does not include use of lights, tech or production support. We will email our list and post information on our website to assist your promotional efforts. Tech operators must be pre-approved. Lighting instruments must remain in their current configuration unless pre-approved. Use of lighting equipment is $50/show. We offer online reservation services on our website and studio answering machine.
