History

Luminz Dance Theater was born out of collaborative, multi-media happenings called luminzcircus. Aurora Corsano teamed up with artists from many media to combine circus, dance, theater, puppetry, music, visual art and technology. The events began in 2003 and included the work of often over thirty artists.

Luminzcircus presented three new happenings annually that drew large enthusiastic audiences.   They also created cabarets, window performance, street shows and a silent film.  In 2007, a studio became available in the Cotton Mill Hill building in Brattleboro and a home base for the company was established as well as a school for dancing.

Luminz Dance Theater’s work is built for local audiences and for tour. Luminz Dance Theater is a dedicated family of dancers and artists who strive to create original new dance theater performances.
